Major project- creation

Hello.
For the last three weeks I have been focused on my work, and starting to do my major project. Now is the time to blog!

My continuation route is Interior Design, so my project is focusing on home interiors.
I want to design a big, spacious, modern house for a professional, designer couple.

Location:
I choose the forest in a location for my project.
I want to contrast the interior calm space with the external wild nature.
I will show this contrast in my designs.

Forest Sunset

Firstly, I wanted to do it in Homestyler.
I tested this software and changed my mind. The menu and tools weren`t clear. My classmate, Dora, recommended Roomstyler to me.

Testing a Homestyler..

Roomstyler:

Photo above presents one of my visualisation where I used a forest background.
It shows a bedroom with a beautiful view on the forest.
It is a very simple room- great for a sleep!
I pasted a photo like a background and done visualisation.
In the software it called 3D Photography, for having 3D view.

Starting use a Roomstyler was a new experience for me.
I have never used programs for design interiors.
I started do a plan of home, I put a grass and trees cause I didn`t know how to do an breath keeping view outside the windows.
When I get it knew I remove a plants and paste my photo for better visualisation.

On the picture below you can see how designing a bedroom looks like.
I have had a lots of things and tested them.
I also decided to do some rooms separately of mainly plan.

I also had a small problem with render- it did not work properly.
It shows two different floors when I choose only one.
I did a bedroom a few times. It took a lot of time but at last it looked good.
I changed a light, bed and night table too, final bedroom is a little bigger than this one.

  1. Nice to see another post, but can you add some of the process over the next few days so we can see how you are getting on with the software choice of Roomstyler.

  2. Time is getting short and really need to see the process of your design now as you need to be finalising this next week to create design boards for your portfolio - please add more as soon as possible.

Sequential Photos

Hi, below you can see sequential photos. I was taken this piece with group of four girls. We were in group of future Interior Designers (I have hope) and we were trying focus on showing some interesting inside. As you see the sequential shows process of climbing up the stair but in reverse order. We done it in the Vijay Patel. It is the mainly building of Art&Design at De Monfort University. These photos were taken by Android, and we made this collage in online app   http://pl.montagesphoto.com/kolaz.   If I could change something- I would change a camera for better one and concept. I prefer show a different perspective of this inside because this building it is very impressive and we should show it.
